High-grade glial tumors (also called high-grade gliomas) are the most aggressive primary brain neoplasms. Therefore, much attention is paid to understanding the pathogenesis, as well as to the development of new effective diagnostic and therapeutic methods. MicroRNAs are short non-coding RNAs, 18-22 nucleotides in length, which, as has already been shown, play a direct role in carcinogenesis.
