[The morphometric characteristics of the sagittal fissure as the basis for a surgical approach in callosotomy].

Macro-microscopic tomography of the sagittal fissure of the brain has been studied on 10 dead bodies, morphometric studies were performed in 10 healthy subjects (40 NMR-tomograms and 40 cerebral angiograms). The findings made it possible to divide the fissure into three zones and single out basic anatomical structures in each zone. Morphological and morphometrical data obtained provided validation of the approach to the corpus callosum and microsurgical callosotomy.

[Experience with surgery of parasagittal meningioma].

The study included 106 patients operated for parasagittal meningioma. Occlusion of the superior sagittal sinus (SSS) was recorded in 50 cases: partial-21, complete-29. Other pathologies-18.

[The projection anatomy of the deep median brain structures to the cranial vault].

The image of deep median structures of cerebrum on magnetic resonance tomogrammes of 20 people with different form of skull aged 20-50 years has been showed on craniogrammes. Projection of these formations were created on the calvaria [correction of convalaria] with lines, perpendicular to horizontal plane of the skull and penetrating the deep median structures. The data obtained can be used in choosing the operative approach to the callous body and infracallous structures.
