Article Synopsis
  • - This meta-analysis evaluates the effectiveness of three-dimensional time-of-flight magnetic resonance angiography (3D-TOF-MRA) in diagnosing intracranial aneurysms (IA) by analyzing data from 18 studies with a total of 3463 patients.
  • - Results showed high diagnostic performance with sensitivity (89%) and specificity (94%), indicating that 3D-TOF-MRA is reliable for detecting IAs, especially in cases without subarachnoid hemorrhage.
  • - The study concludes that 3D-TOF-MRA is an excellent tool for assessing intracranial aneurysms and could be an important option for managing patients with this condition.
