Dalargin effects on the immune status parameters were studied in patients with acute pyoinflammatory processes of the soft tissues of the face. Tsen. lymphocyte subpopulation was found to be increasing in all the patients during therapy, whatever the clinical course of the underlying disease.

E-rosette formation is recommended as such rapid technique, for it revealed the cells' superficial E-receptors. The nitro blue tetrazolium reduction test proved useful to probe the oxygen related bactericide mechanisms.

The role of intracellular protein fractions, isolated from M. tuberculosis virulent strains in the process of the electrophoretic separation, in the development of delayed hypersensitivity reactions has been studied. Low reactogenicity of protein fractions has been established on the basis of the development of faint immunopathological reactions in sensitized animals.

Glial volume test (GVT) was used to assess cytotoxic antibrain antibodies in 64 schizophrenic patients and 42 patients with organic disorders of the central nervous system. The GVT changes were unspecific and reflected the general course of the disease. Serum cytotoxicity increased with increasing psychopathological signs and reduced to normal or subnormal values with their alleviation.

The phlegmons have arisen in the presence of chronic inflammation of the soft tissue. Microbial flora in the inflammation focus proved opportunistic, abundant in nonclostridial anaerobic agents.
