Introduction: Complex PTSD (CPTSD) is a relatively new condition in ICD-11. This pilot randomised controlled trial aimed to compare a four-module intervention developed to target all symptoms of ICD-11 CPTSD, namely Enhanced Skills in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (ESTAIR) with treatment as usual (TAU). Gold standard treatments for military personnel seeking support for mental health difficulties are often standardised and manualised to ensure high levels of treatment fidelity. While manualised treatments are preferable to less evidence-based idiosyncratic approaches, they may not fully account for the differences in symptom profiles present in patients with the same psychological diagnosis. Disturbances of Ca2+ homeostasis in the heart contribute to the initiation and maintenance of cardiac arrhythmias. Booster vaccinations for pertussis are advised in many countries during childhood or adulthood. In a phase IV longitudinal interventional study, we assessed long-term immunity following an extra pertussis booster vaccination in children and adults. Children (9 years of age) were primed in infancy with either the Dutch whole cell pertussis (wP) vaccine ( = 49) or acellular pertussis (aP) vaccines ( = 59), and all children received a preschool aP booster.
