Battery recycling is currently becoming a crucial issue. One possible treatment path involves the use of molten salts. A mechanistic understanding of the underlying processes requires being able to analyze in situ speciation in molten salts at various temperatures.

We aimed to optimize visualization of such inner ear internal anatomy using 3D-FLAIR without injection.
Methods: 3D-FLAIR signal from different fluid compartments such as PLS and ELS was first simulated.
Surface-confined host-guest chemistry at the air/solid interface is used for trapping a functionalized 3D Zn-phthalocyanine complex into a 2D porous supramolecular template allowing the large area functionalization of an sp2-hybridized carbon-based substrate as evidenced by STM, resonance Raman spectroscopy, and water contact angle measurements.
