Gastric Cancer in the Lesser and Greater Curvature: A Comparative Analysis from a Single Western Center.

Background/aim: To date, the different clinicopathological characteristics of gastric cancer (GC) in the lesser curvature and greater curvature remain unclear. The aim of this study was to investigate the different features of the tumors in the two sites and provide new strategy for a tailored therapy.

Patients And Methods: Between January 2003 and December 2019, 121 patients with GC located in the lesser or greater curvature were surgically treated with curative intent.

Prognostic value of specific KRAS mutations in patients with colorectal peritoneal metastases.

Background: There is little evidence on KRAS mutational profiles in colorectal cancer (CRC) peritoneal metastases (PM). BIOSCOPE and COMPASS are prognostic scores designed to stratify survival into four classes according to clinical and pathological features. The purpose of this study is to analyze the prognostic role of these scores using a large cohort of patients as an external reference.
