Objective: Since 2013, Revive Dental Care has been operating a community outreach dental service for homeless and 'hard-to-reach' patients. This research aimed to (a) explore the dental care experienced by people accessing the service, (b) examine barriers and facilitators to using a dental service, (c) examine the impact of the service and (d) identify good practice in providing dental services for homeless people.
Methods: Semi-structured interviews with 20 patients, nine members of the dental staff and four staff members from the community centres providing services for homeless people.

Objectives: People are living longer with a long-term health condition. Our aim was to develop a greater understanding of the experience and needs of people as they age with ankylosing spondylitis (AS).
Methods: Ethical approval was obtained for six focus groups, with participants over 60 years of age, to explore experiences through peer group discussion.
Objectives: To investigate whether patients with improved clinical markers during their anti-TNFα treatment experience improvements in their functional and psychological ability to undertake activities.
Methods: Patients receiving anti-TNFα treatment for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) or ankylosing spondylitis (AS) were recruited from outpatient clinics in East Anglia and North West England. Purposive sampling recruited variety in demographic and treatment experiences.
Objectives: The aim of the present study was to conduct an in-depth exploration of the 'journey' to diagnosis of people with ankylosing spondylitis (AS)/axial spondyloarthritis (Axial SpA) to gain insights into the experience, potential barriers and facilitators in this process.
Methods: The present qualitative study, embedded within a prospective longitudinal cohort study, was located within an interpretive phenomenological paradigm. Ten people newly diagnosed with AS/axial SpA, reporting an average of 10.

Objective: Spinal mobility is assessed frequently in patients with AS/axial SpA using the BASMI to provide baseline measurement and monitor change over time. The interpretation of BASMI scores has been hindered by the absence of normative values. We aimed to obtain normative values for the BASMI in healthy men and women in a UK population.
