[Features of drug addiction among adolescent schoolchildren in the Russian Federation].

Prevalence of smoking, alcohol and drug addiction among school adolescents living in 21 towns of Russian Federation has been obtained in the anonymous questionnaire survey performed in 1991-1992. The investigated cities were divided into groups according to the nearness of the prevalences by the Average Linkage Cluster Analysis. There is dependence of strain acuteness regarding individual substance use components (alcohol, cigarette, narcotic use) in the cities on the spread of loyal attitude of the social environment to the relevant negative habits.

[Formalization of a choice procedure in dosimetric planning of tele-irradiation in gamma-ray therapy].

The authors proposed a model of assessment of the usefulness of any mode of distant irradiation in gamma-beam therapy chosen for the treatment of each individual patient. The criteria were defined, functions of the calculation of the criteria of assessment of dose field quality were defined, functions for the calculation of the significance of the criteria presented for each individual patient by a radiologist, was given. The use of a plotted model to compare two dosimetric programs of irradiation of lung cancer was described.

[Clinico-dosimetric foundation for the intracavity gamma therapy of uterine cancer on the AGAM apparatus].

The paper is concerned with the first experience of intracavitary gamma-therapy of uterine cancer using the AGAM unit ensuring simultaneous delivery of Cs-137 sources along 3 channels. Organizational problems of a process of irradiation were discussed. The authors gave a description of a program for the SM-4 mini computer used for the calculation of a dose field formed by a discretely moving radiation source along arbitrary type trajectories.
