While pyrolyzed paper (PP) is a green and abundant material that can provide functionalized electrodes with wide detection windows for a plethora of targets, it poses long-standing challenges against sensing assays such as poor electrical conductivity, with resistivities generally higher than 200.0 mΩ cm (, gold and silver show resistivities 1000-fold lower, ∼0.2 mΩ cm).

The shaping of group velocity dispersion in microresonators is an important component in the generation of wideband optical frequency combs. Small resonators-with tight bending radii-offer the large free-spectral range desirable for wide comb formation. However, the tighter bending usually limits comb formation as it enhances normal group velocity dispersion.

Objectives: The cellular therapy using adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ASCs) aims to improve tendon healing, considering that repaired tendons often result in a less resistant tissue. Our objective was to evaluate the effects of the ASCs combination with a low-level laser (LLL), an effective photobiostimulation for the healing processes.

Materials And Methods: Rats calcaneal tendons were divided into five groups: normal (NT), transected (T), transected and ASCs (SC) or LLL (L), or with ASCs and LLL (SCL).

Pancreaticocutaneous fistulas (PCFs) may be refractory to medical therapy or endoscopic retrograde cholangopancreaticography. Four patients underwent endoscopic ultrasound-guided management of refractory PCFs, which were internalized by endoscopic ultrasound-guided transmural puncture of the pancreatic duct (n = 2), fistula tract (n = 1), or both (n = 1), with placement of transmural stents providing internal drainage to the stomach (n = 3) or duodenum (n = 1). Drainage from PCFs ceased in all patients, and all percutaneous drains were removed; internal stents were left in place indefinitely.
