The optimal neuroimaging modalities for differentiating intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis-related large vessel occlusion (ICAS-LVO) from embolism related LVO remain uncertain. This study aimed to address this question by directly comparing collateral circulation using either baseline CT perfusion (CTP) or multiphase CT angiogram (mCTA) to define collaterals. We retrospectively analyzed consecutive patients with acute large vessel occlusion from October 2021 to December 2023.

Protein-peptide interactions are essential to cellular processes and disease mechanisms. Identifying protein-peptide binding residues is critical for understanding peptide function and advancing drug discovery. However, experimental methods are costly and time-intensive, while existing computational approaches often predict interactions or binding residues separately, lack effective feature integration, or rely heavily on limited high-quality structural data.

Herbivorous livestock, such as cattle, sheep, goats, horses, and donkeys, play a crucial role in agricultural production and possess remarkable resilience to extreme environmental conditions, driven by complex genetic mechanisms. Recent advancements in high-throughput sequencing, genome assembly, and environmental data integration have enabled a deeper understanding of the genetic basis of their environmental adaptation. This review identifies key genes associated with high-altitude, heat, cold, and drought adaptation, providing insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying these traits.
