Cryptobiosis is a state where organisms lose nearly all their internal water and enter anhydrobiosis under extreme environmental stress. The dispersal third-stage juveniles (pre-dauer juveniles, ) of Bursaphelenchus xylophilus can enter cryptobiosis through dehydration and revive upon rehydration when environmental conditions improve. Osmotic regulation is crucial for their survival in this process.

Selective IgA deficiency is relatively common in Caucasians, but it is rare in the Asian population, meaning it could be easily missed in the clinic. In this study, we report a 26-year-old man with a history of asthma and nephrotic syndrome.

However, there has been little evaluation of the change in proprioceptive deficits in the lower limbs over time after stroke. This study aimed to examine proprioceptive deficits over time after stroke in both the affected and "unaffected" lower limbs.

Copper (Cu) is an essential element for plant growth but toxic when present in excess. In this study we present the functional characterization of a petunia (Petunia hybrida) P-type heavy-metal ATPases (HMAs), PhHMA5II1.

Due to the differences in the metal atomic radius (Mn and Cd) and solubility product constant (MnS and CdS), Mn defect easily occurred in the S/MnCdS (S/0.4MCS) composite.
