Complex examination of breast cancer patients (102, aged 35-63) receiving systemic polychemotherapy was carried out to make a case for a course of immunotherapy. Cycles of chemotherapy were given to all patients. Basal immunological status revealed T-cell and non-specific immunity suppression, disordered cytokine regulation, lowered nitrite concentration and enhanced SOD and catalase levels.

The recent rise in the incidence of allergic diseases, including allergic dermatoses, requires a comprehensive approach to solving a number of problems associated with this disease. Analyzing the case reports of 62 children with allergic dermatoses has indicated that this is a particular contingent of children, which needs a more careful approach to different preventive measures, to interpreting tuberculin reactions and hence to substantiating the use chemotherapeutical prevention. A graded skin tuberculin test and an immunological study should be performed in critical cases.

Clinical investigation of immune and allergic state of 633 adult dwellers of the Middle Ural region was carried out. The first (occupational) group consisted of 479 workers of the industrial plant, most of which exposed to negative factors such as radiation, harmful chemical substances and stress. The second (control) group consisted of 154 town-dwellers, who did not work at the industrial plant.

Immune deficiency epidemiological survey covered adult population of the town of Vyshkov in the Bryansk region of Russia referred to the zone of radionuclide contamination hazard after the Chernobyl accident. Clinical and immunological investigation with immune status evaluation of three groups of adult population of Bryansk Region was performed. The first group included 165 persons living in Vyshkov (settlement of town type in Bryansk Region) contaminated with radionuclides as a result of Chernobyl accident.
