Background: The aim of this study was to assess whether parasternal block with multihole catheters inserted before surgical incision enables to alleviate postoperative analgesia and opioid reduction in cardiac surgery patients with sternotomy.

Methods: Twenty-six adult patients scheduled for cardiac surgery with sternotomy aged between 18 and 84 olds were included in this prospective, monocentric, open, single-group trial. Two parasternal multihole catheters were inserted on each side of the sternum before the surgical skin incision for cardiac surgery and 10 mL of ropivacaine 7.

Several studies have shown high rates of mental health problems amongst doctors in training worldwide. Self-care has been shown to be protective against burnout and increases subjective wellbeing. This study aims to investigate the self-care practices of foundation year doctors (FYs) in Malta.

We report the first double-differential neutrino-argon cross section measurement made simultaneously for final states with and without protons for the inclusive muon neutrino charged-current interaction channel. The proton kinematics of this channel are further explored with a differential cross section measurement as a function of the leading proton's kinetic energy that extends across the detection threshold. These measurements use data collected with the MicroBooNE detector from 6.

We present a first search for dark-trident scattering in a neutrino beam using a dataset corresponding to 7.2×10^{20} protons on target taken with the MicroBooNE detector at Fermilab. Proton interactions in the neutrino target at the main injector produce π^{0} and η mesons, which could decay into dark-matter (DM) particles mediated via a dark photon A^{'}.

Conformity to masculinity ideology predicts men's meat consumption and willingness to reduce their meat intake, but it is unknown which specific masculine norms account for these relationships. This study investigated which traditional and non-traditional masculine norms predict meat consumption, red and processed meat consumption, and willingness to reduce meat consumption in 557 Australian and English males. Men who support the use of physical violence and place high importance on sex ate more meat.
