Adolescents with CP classified as Gross Motor Functional Classification System Level V attend school up to 8 h daily with limited ability to self-reposition. Despite pain reported within this population, perceived pain and self-pressure relief during prolonged classroom sitting is unknown. A case series design was used with a convenience sample of six students (13-18 years) with CP.

Methods: Physical therapists developed student goals using Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS) and administered the School Function Assessment (SFA). Therapists documented activities, interventions, and type of service delivery provided weekly.
Importance: Children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) may experience sleep difficulties that worsen into adulthood and negatively influence both child and family, yet the experience is not well understood. Understanding the family's experience can inform occupational therapy providers, future research, and practice guidelines.
Objective: To examine experiences surrounding sleep for families raising a young adult with ASD (YA-ASD).

Purpose: Inadequate wheelchair provision in children can lead to delays in growth and development, poorer health, and decreased participation. Wheelchair provision for children can be challenging, especially in low-resource settings, due to limited resources. Therefore, the purpose of the scoping review was to gain an understanding of the current state of paediatric wheelchair provision in low resource settings and identify factors, strategies, and gaps that can lead to more successful wheelchair provision.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTo more clearly understand the equine gonadotrope response to kisspeptin and gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH), peripheral LH and FSH were quantified in diestrous mares after treatment with either equine kisspeptide (eKp-10, 0.5 mg iv), GnRH (25 μg iv), or a combination thereof every 4 h for 3 days. The following observations were made: 1) a diminished LH and FSH response to eKp-10 and GnRH was observed by Day 3, but was not different by treatment, 2) a decrease in basal LH concentration was observed from Day 1 to Day 3 for the eKp-10, but not the GnRH treated mares, 3) there was no change in basal FSH with either treatment.
