(RPhP)[Mn(dca)]: A Family of Glass-Forming Hybrid Organic-Inorganic Materials.

ABX-type hybrid organic-inorganic structures have recently emerged as a new class of meltable materials. Here, by the use of phenylphosphonium derivatives as A cation, we study liquid- and glass-forming behavior of a new family of hybrid structures, (RPhP)[Mn(dca)] (R = Me, Et, Ph; dca = dicyanamide). These new compounds melt at 196-237 °C () and then vitrify upon cooling to room temperature, forming glasses.

Melt Alloying of Two-Dimensional Hybrid Perovskites: Composition-Dependence of Thermal and Optical Properties.

Melt alloying, the process of melting a physical powder blend to create a homogeneous alloy, is widely used in materials processing. By carefully selecting the materials and their proportions, the physical properties of the resulting alloy can be precisely controlled. In this study, we investigate the possibility of utilizing melt alloying principles for meltable two-dimensional hybrid organic-inorganic perovskites (2D-HOIPs).

Feasibility of the Understanding and Managing Adult ADHD Programme: open-access online group psychoeducation and acceptance and commitment therapy for adults with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Background: Psychoeducational interventions are a critical aspect of supporting adults with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The Understanding and Managing Adult ADHD Programme (UMAAP) is a six-session, group-based webinar intervention that incorporates psychoeducation with acceptance and commitment therapy. UMAAP relies on self-referrals and is facilitated by a charity, to promote accessibility.

Diet and health inequalities: Connecting with vulnerable groups to address food insecurity-the DIO food project.

The current cost-of-living crisis is disproportionately affecting families experiencing poverty and is likely to be amplifying existing dietary inequalities and challenges, such as food insecurity (FI). Government policies designed to address diet inequality in the UK have historically had minimal impact on population diet and health and may have even widened existing inequalities. Therefore, the effect of nutrition policies on those experiencing FI in the context of the current cost-of-living crisis needs to be better understood.
