Myoblasts are the primary effector cells that play crucial roles in myogenesis and muscle regeneration following injury. However, isolating purified primary myoblasts from murine skeletal muscle poses challenges for junior researchers. Here, we present a simplified, low-risk, and optimized protocol for the extraction and enrichment of these myogenic progenitor cells.

Dry sandstone primarily undergoes shear failure, while water-saturated sandstone mainly experiences a combination of tensile and shear failure.

Central nervous system (CNS)-native and peripheral immune cells influence the BrMet immune landscape, but the dynamics and factors modulating this microenvironment remain unclear. As the gut microbiome impacts CNS and peripheral immune activity, we investigated its role in regulating immune response dynamics throughout BrMet stages.

We analyzed a recent TCGA data release comprised of nearly 5000 pan-cancer paired tumor-normal whole-genome sequencing (WGS) samples and ~9000 tumor RNA samples. We developed TotalReCall an improved algorithm and pipeline for detection of L1 retrotransposition (RT), finding high correlation between L1 expression and "RT burden" per sample.

As a complex chronic gynecological disorder characterized by multifaceted etiology involving genetics, environment, immunity and inflammation, endometriosis (EM) has long been a significant concern for women of reproductive age worldwide. This review aimed to comprehensively examine the interplay between epigenetics and oxidative stress (OS) in the pathogenesis of EM. Through the integration of cutting-edge research, the response of OS signals to epigenetic modifications was explored.
