The parallel measurements of wavelength dependent optical absorption, particle number size distribution have made by a multi wavelength photoacoustic spectrometer (4λ-PAS) and scanning mobility particle sizer (SMPS) respectively at different modes of a diesel engine using two different types of fuel. The thermal evolution of the emission was also investigated using posterior temperature treatment of emission. The bimodal size distribution of emitted particles at a set reference temperature has been observed regardless of the applied fuel at idle.

Interleukin-2 (IL-2), which modulates the survival and functionality of lymphocytes, is an attractive target for new immunotherapies but one that is limited by presence of regulatory T cells (Tregs) expressing the high-affinity IL-2Rα. The bispecific immunocytokine PD1-IL2v preferentially delivers IL-2 signaling through IL-2Rβγ on PD-1-expressing cells.

Most patients respond transiently at best, highlighting the importance of understanding mechanisms underlying resistance. Herein, we evaluated the effects of the engineered immunocytokine PD1-IL2v in a mouse model of de novo pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer that is resistant to checkpoint and other immunotherapies.

Cell Squeeze is a novel technology that relies on temporarily disrupting the cell membrane to deliver cargo directly into the cytosol. This approach is applicable to a broad range of cell types (peripheral blood mononuclear cells, red blood cells, hematopoietic stem cells, etc.) and cargos (peptides, proteins, small molecules, nucleic acids, and gene-editing complexes) while minimally disrupting normal cell function.
