The adsorption of DNA probes onto nanomaterials represents a promising bioassay technique, generally employing fluorescence or catalytic activity to generate signals. A significant challenge is maintaining the catalytic activity of chromogenic catalysts during detection while enhancing accuracy by overcoming the limitations of single-signal transmission. This article presents an innovative multimodal analysis approach that synergistically combines the oxidase-like activity of Fe-N-C nanozyme (Fe-NC) with red fluorescent carbon quantum dots (R-CQDs), further advancing the dual-mode analysis method utilizing R-CQDs@Fe-NC.

Using roof borehole electrical resistivity tomography to monitor roof water infiltration in a mine work face.

Roof water inrush in coal mining is a significant type of water-related disaster that usually results from the interconnection of water-bearing geological formations formed by cracks during and after work face mining. Therefore, monitoring roof water infiltration is of paramount importance in preventing or mitigating water inrush in the mine work face. This study employed the roof borehole electrical resistivity tomography method to conduct physical experiments for monitoring water seepage in roof cracks generated during coal model mining.

Risk factors influencing cage retropulsion following lumbar interbody fusion in treating degenerative lumbar diseases: A comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis.

Background: Degenerative lumbar diseases (DLDs) often have significant impacts on patients' quality of life, particularly when cage retropulsion (CR) occurs following lumbar interbody fusion (LIF). In this study, we conducted a meta-analysis to assess the risk factors associated with CR after LIF.

Methods: We retrieved literatures analyzing the risk factors associated with CR following LIF from seven databases.

This study aimed to evaluate the visualization of right adrenal vein (RAV) in non-contrast-enhanced multi-detector computed tomography (MDCT) and its guiding role for right adrenal venous sampling (AVS) in patients with primary aldosteronism (PA). A total of 237 patients diagnosed with PA who underwent successful AVS procedures from January 2020 to March 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. The non-contrast-enhanced MDCT image features of RAV included the degree of visualization and the position of RAV orifice.

Objective: To investigate the factors contributing to or hindering intrahospital transport preparation and management projects using the consolidated framework for implementation research (CFIR) framework.

Design: Semistructured interviews were used in a qualitative descriptive study.

Setting: This study was conducted in the emergency room of a tertiary hospital in Beijing, China, between December 2023 and January 2024.
