The frequency of AB0 and Rhesus blood groups was studied in 12120 patients with COVID-19, 5180 convalescent plasma donors and 118801 healthy donors from Moscow, Smolensk, Yakutsk, Minsk and Gomel. In infected individuals, the frequency of blood group A was significantly higher than in uninfected individuals (41,54 % and 34,39 % respectively, p<0,05), and the frequency of blood group 0, on the contrary, was significantly lower (27,69 % and 36,71 %, p<0,05). The frequency of blood group A was particularly high among patients who died from ARVI COVID-19 - 45,51 % vs.

We studied effects of neonatal hepatocytes transplantation (NHT) on lipid metabolism and hemostasis in experimental hypercholesterolemia. A positive NHT influence on lipid metabolism, lipid peroxidation and hemostasis was established. The experimental data evidence for preferential influence of intrahepatic NHT on lipid metabolism and hemostasis compared to intravenous NHT.

In two populations of Yaroslavl cattle breed, analysis of linkage disequilibrium was performed with respect to four milk protein loci, physically linked (caseins CASAS1, CASB, and CASK) or unlinked (caseins and b-lactoglobulin, LGB). Gametic disequilibria between CASAS1 and CASB and between CASB and CASK were detected in both populations, whereas those between CASAS1 and CASK or CASAS1 and LGB were found only in the Gorshikha population. Additionally, analysis of the joint distribution of genotypes with respect to these loci was carried out by means of contingency tables.

The genetic distances between cattle breeds were calculated and relationships between these breeds were analyzed on the basis of polymorphism of genes encoding seven blood proteins (N = 22 breeds) and four milk proteins (N = 14 breeds). The study was performed using cluster and cladistic analysis, as well as multidimensional scaling. The conventional systems of classification of cattle breeds are reviewed in genetic terms, and the history of breeds and their evolution are discussed.

On the basis of polymorphism of genes, controlling seven blood and four milk proteins, genetic structure and main variation parameters were analyzed in 27 breeds of cattle, 11 of which were native. Difference in allele frequencies of blood proteins were detected in the Jersey (island form) and Yakut (geographically isolated form) breeds; in milk proteins, the Yaroslavl' breed differed from the other breeds. Native breeds generally had a more specialized genetic structure than commercial breeds.
