Clinical analysis was carried out of El Tor cholera in 100 patients, plasma concentrations of electrolytes of potassium (K) and sodium (Na) were studied as were those of trace elements of iron (Fe), copper (Cu), magnesium (Mg) and manganese (Mn) in the whole blood before and after rehydration therapy and depending on the extent of dehydration. View Article and Find Full Text PDFDynamic cytologic examinations of puncture biopsy specimens of ovarian carcinoma and of serous cavity fluid in metastases of the carcinoma over the course of chemotherapy help assess the treatment efficacy and timely correct it. Carcinoma metastases to the pleural and abdominal cavity are more sensitive to chemotherapy than the primary tumor. Chemotherapy efficacy improves if a greater number of courses of therapy are administered.
