Longitudinal Evaluation of Fetal and Infant AGD in Healthy Children: Association With Penile Size, Testosterone, and DHT.

Context: The anogenital distance (AGD) is considered a postnatal readout of early fetal androgen action. Little is known of prenatal AGD and how it correlates with AGD postnatally.

Objective: We present longitudinal measurements of fetal and infant AGD.

Cohort profile: The Copenhagen Analgesic Study-The COPANA cohort.

Background: Development of the gonads during fetal life is complex and vital for adult reproductive health. Cell and animal studies have shown an alarming effect of mild analgesics on germ cells in both males and females. More than 50% of pregnant women use mild analgesics during pregnancy, which potentially could compromise the reproductive health of the next generation.

The influence of digital competences, self-organization, and independent learning abilities on students' acceptance of digital learning.

Despite digital learning disrupting traditional learning concepts and activities in higher education, for the successful integration of digital learning, the use and acceptance of the students are essential. This acceptance depends in turn on students' characteristics and dispositions, among other factors. In our study, we investigated the influence of digital competences, self-organization, and independent learning abilities on students' acceptance of digital learning and the influence of their acceptance on the resistance to the change from face-to-face to digital learning.

Reflection as a learning strategy for the training of nurses in clinical practice setting: a scoping review.

Objective: The objective of this review is to identify and map the tools and approaches used for reflection as a learning strategy for nurses and nursing students in clinical settings.

Background: Several types of reflection interventions exist to develop nurses' reflective competencies in clinical practice. This scoping review mapped the available literature on the use of reflection in the education of nurses and nursing students in clinical settings.

Seasonal alteration in response to stress or physiological change.

Two pilot experiments are reported in which various combinations of stress, modifiers of glucose metabolism, and sulfur deficiency were investigated using urinary sulfur levels and tissue glucose and glycogen levels as indicators. Urinary sulfur levels increased under certain conditions of stress but decreased with the injection of Escherichia coli endotoxin, suggesting an anabolic reversal. Heart and blood glycogen levels fell in rats fed a sulfur-deficient diet.
