They could represent a safe and effective alternative and/or adjunctive procedure to conventional lasers in treating diabetic macula edema (DME), central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR), and branch retina vein occlusion (BRVO). This review focuses on the use of subthreshold micropulse laser (SMPL), its settings, and clinical applications.

Methods: Ten healthy New Zealand White rabbits underwent temperature-controlled PPV in the right eye (group A), using a device specifically designed to heat the infusion fluid/air and integrated into the vitrectomy machine, and conventional PPV in the left eye (group B). Both eyes received ophthalmic examination and electroretinography (ERG) before and 1 week postoperatively.
Purpose: To describe a case of punctate inner choroidopathy (PIC) and secondary or epiphenomenon multiple evanescent white dot syndrome (EpiMEWDS) following surgery for high myopic full-thickness macular hole (FTMH).
Methods: Case report.
Results: A 57-year-old high myopic female was diagnosed with cataract and FTMH in the left eye.
