Purpose: We present a novel method for augmented reality in endoscopic endonasal surgery. Our method does not require the use of external tracking devices and can show hidden anatomical structures relevant to the surgical intervention.
Methods: Our method registers a preoperative 3D model of the nasal cavity to an intraoperative 3D model by estimating a scaled-rigid transformation.
The cochlear implant is an implanted auditory prosthesis that can restore severe and profound hearing loss. About 20% of patients with congenital sensorineural hearing loss have a malformation of the inner ear. These abnormalities must be investigated before a cochlear implant because they can lead to intra and postoperative complications and/or anomalies.

Methods: This was a prospective monocentric study achieved from July 2019 to December 2020. The inclusion criterion was acute hearing loss of at least 30 dB over three contiguous frequencies occurring within a 72-h period, documented by a pure-tone audiometry (PTA).
Galeazzi fracture in skeletally immature patients is a relatively uncommon injury. No previously published case has been associated with an iatrogenic mechanism. Here, we report a case of a 10-year-old boy with a minimally displaced distal radius fracture evolving into a Galeazzi lesion after unnecessary surgical treatment.
