  • An evaluation was conducted to test the effectiveness of lotilaner (Credeli®) in treating dogs infested with Dermatobia hominis larvae, with 12 dogs involved in the study.
  • Each dog received a single oral dose of at least 20 mg/kg lotilaner, and the larvicidal effect was observed 6 hours after treatment.
  • Results showed an overall effectiveness of 80.6%, with 98 larvae initially counted and only 19 remaining alive, notably displaying reduced mobility.
