Objectives: Odevixibat, a reversible ileal bile acid transport inhibitor, has been shown to reduce serum bile acids (sBA) and pruritus mostly in children with progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis (PFIC) 1 and 2 in clinical trials and case reports. There are currently no published case reports or series describing its use in rare variants of cholestatic liver disease.

Methods: We describe three children with progressive cholestatic liver disease who developed refractory pruritus, who had a genotypic diagnosis of , variant, and and variants; all being variants of unknown significance as per the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics guidelines.

Primary caregivers are the main mediators of care for children with an autism diagnosis in Canada, and the navigation process to gain access to autism-related services is known to be a major burden. These challenges to service access are compounded for newcomers to Canada, which include immigrants and refugees. The purpose of this scoping review is to describe the available research on Canadian newcomer caregiver experiences navigating and accessing autism-related services.

Background: The increased survival after a severe acquired brain injury (sABI) raise the problem of making most effective the treatments in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/Neurointensive Care Unit (NICU), also integrating rehabilitation care. Despite previous studies reported that early mobilization in ICU was effective in preventing complications and reducing hospital stay, few studies addressed the rehabilitative management of sABI patients in ICU/NICU.

Aim: To collect clinical and functional data about the early rehabilitative management of sABI patients during ICU/NICU stay.

Atraumatic vertebral compression fractures are a common clinical problem, especially in elderly population. Metastases are the most frequent source of bone tumors, and the spine is a common site of metastatic disease; in case of cortical involvement or osteolysis, they may result in pathological compression fractures. Atraumatic compression fractures may result from other primary neoplasms of vertebrae and also from osteomyelitis, Paget's disease, hyperparathyroidism and other metabolic processes.
