[Results of surgical revisions for ureteral complications after renal transplantation].

Objective: To analyze the results of surgical revision for ureteral complication (ureteric stenosis or urinary leakage) after renal transplantation over a period of 10 years.

Materials And Methods: We performed a retrospective study on 1313 consecutive kidney transplantations carried out in a University Hospital Center between 2005 and 2014. The data of the patients who developed a ureteral stenosis or a urinary leakage secondary to a renal transplantation were analyzed.

[Epidemiology of urolithiasis in south of France: A retrospective monocentric study].

Introduction: Incidence of urolithiasis is increasing in industrialized countries. Amendments can be explained among others by dietary changes. More and more young patients have urolithiasis.

[Prognostic factors in renal cell carcinoma].

Identification of prognostic factors in renal cell carcinoma is very important today for three goals: providing patient information, giving appropriate treatments and selecting patients for adapted treatment schedules as well as new clinical trials. Prognostic factors in RCC include: anatomical (TNM classification), histological (Fuhrmann grade and histological subtype), clinical (symptoms and performance status) and molecular factors. For improving predicative accuracy of prognostic systems such as the TNM classification, new prognostic algorithms or nomograms have been designed combining independent prognostic variables.

[Anticoagulant therapy complicated by ureteric haematoma: A case report].

Bleeding of the ureteral wall during an anticoagulant treatment is a rare complication. We report the case of a 57-year-old white woman presented with macroscopic haematuria and lumbar pain with an overdose of anticoagulant treatment. Computed tomographic scan revealed the bleeding of the ureteral wall.
