Group A basic leucine zipper (bZIP) transcription factors play critical roles in abscisic acid (ABA) signaling and plant development. In Arabidopsis thaliana, these factors are defined by a highly conserved core bZIP domain, and four conserved domains throughout their length: three at the N-terminus (C1 to C3) and a phosphorylatable C-terminal SAP motif located at the C4 domain. Initially, members such as ABI5 and ABFs were studied for their roles in ABA signaling during seed germination or stress responses.

Lung cancer patients generally receive several information regarding their illness characteristics and available intervention. Therefore, patients can experience confusion, leading to anxiety and distress that might damage the relationship with physicians and treatment adherence. Literature showed that implementing decision aid tools during consultation can promote patients' knowledge and awareness about lung cancer and available oncological intervention, improving a shared decision-making process.

Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) is a potent endotoxin released at high concentrations in acute infections, causing massive host inflammatory response. Accumulating evidence indicates that dysbiosis-associated chronic low levels of circulating LPS can sustain a prolonged sterile low-grade inflammation that increases the risk of several non-communicable diseases. Interventions aimed at increasing the abundance of beneficial/probiotic bacteria, including , result in reduced inflammation, favoring metabolic and immune health.
