Background: Significant advances have been made in targeted therapeutics and systemic therapy regimens for breast cancer (BC) treatment over the past decade. Tumour cells can however remain in the body, leading to locoregional relapse and/or metastasis. Subtypes of BC have distinct prognostic effects and have been linked to varying risks of early locoregional relapse and metastases, response to treatment, and overall survival.

This study investigates food odour perception and affective response within a virtually simulated spacecraft environment, with links to the volatile composition of odours. Healthy participants (n = 44) between the ages of 18-39 years rated the intensity of eight food odours in two simulated space environments for comparison, a 'microgravity' posture (MicroG Posture; physical) and Virtual Reality (VR; visual-spatial cues) simulation of a spacecraft. Results indicate that these methods yield different outcomes.

Polarizable force fields crucially enhance the modeling of macromolecules in polar media. Here, we present new parameters to model six common monosaccharides with the polarizable AMOEBA force field. These parameters yield a thinner, but denser, hydration layer than that previously reported.

Realizing North Carolina's comprehensive vision for Medicaid transformation requires strengthening the state's primary care infrastructure. This can be done by build-ing upon the value-based care incentives in the Advanced Medical Home model, strengthening payor data, aligning quality measures, easing administrative burdens, investing in primary care and its workforce pipeline, and ensuring pay-ment models adequately support serving Medicaid expan-sion and the growing number of Medicaid health plans.
