Electroencephalography microstates (EEG-MS) show promise to be a neurobiological biomarker in stroke. Thus, the aim of the study was to identify biomarkers to discriminate stroke patients from healthy individuals based on EEG-MS and clinical features using a machine learning approach. Fifty-four participants (27 stroke patients and 27 healthy age and sex-matched controls) were recruited.

Bulk-fill, monochromatic, and ORMOCER composites were introduced in restorative dentistry with the aim of reducing clinical time and/or alleviating contraction stresses at the interface between the tooth and restoration. While the conversion and immediate properties of these materials are comparable to conventional composites, studies evaluating their long-term properties and the structure of the polymer matrix are lacking. The objective of this study was to evaluate the degree of conversion and, indirectly, the crosslink density of conventional, bulk-fill, monochromatic, and ORMOCER resin composites.

Available literature on the effect of various physical forms of starter feed (PFSF) on calf performance is conflicting. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the effect of the PFSF on feed intake, growth performance, blood metabolites, and the health of dairy calves. Twenty-four female Holstein calves (5-d-old; 40.

Anthropic activities such as industries, agriculture and mining has generated public concern for its numerous irregular disposals of its waste, the incorrect deposition of heavy metals such as nickel (Ni) has caused the degradation and contamination of groundwater and water. Studies that point out cheap and efficient solutions have been an obstacle to the advancement of solutions for degraded area recovery programs. For this, a vegetable home experiment was developed, with an entirely randomized design with 5 treatments being a control (no metal) and 4 nickel concentrations (200 μM/L; 400 μM/L; 600 μM/L and 800 μM/L) with 6 repetitions.

This paper analyses the enduring impact of neighbourhood deprivation on youth development, exploring multigenerational aspects often overlooked in existing research. I investigate how neighbourhood environments experienced across two generations impact youth outcomes, focussing on cognitive skills and socio-emotional behaviour. Using data from the 1958 National Child Development Study in the UK, this study employs a Regression with Residuals (RWR) design to comprehensively assess any long-lasting effects.
