Background: Public health research has increasingly focused on migration as a determinant of health. Responsible research in this area requires an anti-discriminatory approach in its conduct, reporting and dissemination. A discrimination-sensitive use of language is a central element.

Interventions to Increase the Reachability of Migrants in Germany With Health Interview Surveys: Mixed-Mode Feasibility Study.

Background: Germany is a popular destination for immigrants, and migration has increased in recent years. It is therefore important to collect reliable data on migrants' health. The Robert Koch Institute, Berlin, Germany, has launched the Improving Health Monitoring in Migrant Populations (IMIRA) project to sustainably integrate migrant populations into health monitoring in Germany.

Conservative approach to a large dentigerous cyst in an 11-year-old patient.

Dentigerous cyts are form of benevolent odontogenic cyts which are related to crowns of permament teeth. Often, they are described as unilocular radiolucent lesions and barely seen in childhood era. This article aims to show a case about 11 year old boy having a dentigerous cyst associated with the mandibular canine and a premolar.

Results of combined cyclectomy/trabeculectomy procedure compared with ahmed glaucoma valve implant in neovascular glaucoma cases.

Purpose. Cyclectomy/trabeculectomy and Ahmed glaucoma valve implant are operations suggested for refractory glaucomas. In this study, we have evaluated the outcomes that we observed with these two techniques in neovascular glaucoma patients.

Bilateral choroidal metastases presenting as acute glaucoma crisis.

We report a case of bilateral choroidal metastasis presenting with acute unilateral glaucoma. Primary tumor was found in the lung and choroidal masses in both eyes. Anterior segment neovascularization causing intraocular pressure elevation was the only presenting sign of metastatic choroidal tumor.
