Background: Psoriasis (Pso) is an inflammatory skin disease associated with Metabolic Syndrome (MetS), Steatotic Liver Disease (SLD) and cardiovascular risk. However, the effect of anti-inflammatory therapy on cardiovascular risk is uncertain.
Objectives: To determine the relationship between anti-inflammatory therapy and subclinical atherosclerosis in individuals with Pso, using the gold standard carotid-femoral Pulse Wave Velocity (cf-PWV) measurement.
TNF-α inhibitors, including infliximab, adalimumab and etanercept, are used to treat various inflammatory diseases, such as arthritis, psoriasis and ankylosing spondylitis. However, these treatments may predispose patients to fungal infections, including histoplasmosis, candidiasis and aspergillosis. In this study, we systematically reviewed case reports to critically examine the correlations between anti-TNF-α therapies and the occurrence of invasive and superficial fungal infections.

Materials And Methods: Thirty-five premolars were divided into five groups: no treatment; passive application of 10% carbamide peroxide gel (10% CP) 28 times for 180 min (28 AH); and active brushing of 10% CP once (1 TB), 28 times (28 TB), and 120 times for 90 s each (120 TB). Brushing was performed using soft-bristled toothbrushes on stabilized specimens.

This study examined the effects of dietary levels of methionine on lipid and intestinal metabolism in Japanese quail hens and their progeny. The experiment was conducted according to a 3 × 3 factorial design, with three maternal and three progeny diets, as follows: low-methionine (LMET), recommended methionine (MET), and high-methionine (HMET). Methionine supplementation improved reproductive performance during laying (p < 0.
