Background: This study aims to assess the knowledge of Palestinian critical care nurses regarding the prevention of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP), an acquired infection that affects critically ill patients on ventilators in hospitals. Nurses caring for these patients may not always be aware of the most effective methods to prevent VAP.
Materials And Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in five government hospitals in Gaza Strip, Palestine over 3 months.
Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most common primary malignant brain tumor diagnosed in adults, carrying with it an extremely poor prognosis and limited options for effective treatment. Various cell therapies have emerged as promising candidates for GBM treatment but fail in the clinic due to poor tumor trafficking, poor transplantation efficiency, and high systemic toxicity. In this study, we design, characterize, and test a 3D-printed cell delivery platform that can enhance the survival of therapeutic cells implanted in the GBM resection cavity.

Despite their success, developing tumor-homing NSC therapy therapies that maintain durable tumor suppression remains a challenge. Herein, we report a synergistic combination regimen where the novel small molecule TR-107 augments NSC-tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) therapy (hiNeuroS-TRAIL) in models of the incurable brain cancer glioblastoma (GBM) .

Our aim was to study the effect of G on blastocyst implantation using an in vitro mouse model, and the migration and acquisition of endothelial phenotype of the human trophoblastic HTR8/SVneo (H8) cells. In mouse blastocysts, no differences in attachment time and implantation outgrowth area were observed after G exposure.
