Here, we uncover a novel neuraminidase-1 (Neu1) and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) cross-talk in alliance with GPCR neuromedin B, which is essential for EGF-induced receptor activation and cellular signaling. Neu1 and MMP-9 form a complex with EGFR on the cell surface.

Methods: The intraoral radiographic images exposed on phantoms from preclinical practical exams of dental and dental hygiene students were used. Each exam consisted of 10 designated periapical and bitewing views.
The purpose of this research was to analyze the calculation abilities in Alzheimer Disease (AD). Twenty right-handed patients meeting the DSM-IV (American Psychiatric Association, 1994) criteria for AD were studied. Age ranged from 64- to 88-year-old.

A 65-year-old woman with progressive visuospatial dysfunction for 2 years complained of later-onset associated memory impairment. MRI revealed diffuse cerebrocortical atrophy, which was especially severe in both parieto-occipital regions but spared the calcarine and pericalcarine cortices. Examination 5 years after onset revealed left visual hemi-neglect, oculomotor apraxia, optic ataxia, simultanagnosia, verbal alexia, lexical and spatial agraphia, and anterograde amnesia.
