A Rapid-Response Curricular Approach to Teaching Politically Charged Topics.

Residency education in the United States faces challenges from evolving external influence on evidence-based reproductive and gender-affirming health care (R/GAHC). Curricula must incorporate information and resources to assist residents in navigating changes. To illustrate a process for expeditiously adapting curriculum in response to changing laws affecting R/GAHC.

The TeLeo Program: Tele-education in pediatric oncology as a tool to support training programs in Latin America.

The TeLeo Program offers a free-access 2-year online learning program to support fellowship programs in pediatric oncology, enhance networking opportunities, and facilitate the exchange of context-specific, educational content within the pediatric oncology community in training in Latin America. In its first edition beginning in 2021, 185 fellows from 40 centers in 12 Latin American countries were enrolled. Additional courses for other healthcare professionals related to oncology in the region were produced to further support the program.

Effect of Semaglutide on Physical Function, Body Composition, and Biomarkers of Aging in Older Adults With Overweight and Insulin Resistance: Protocol for an Open-Labeled Randomized Controlled Trial.

Background: Older adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) or prediabetes are at increased risk of adverse changes in body composition, physical function, and aging-related biomarkers compared to those with normal glucose tolerance. Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonist that has been approved for T2DM and chronic weight management. Although semaglutide is effective for weight loss and T2DM management, its effects on lean body mass, physical function, and biomarkers of aging are understudied in older adults.

Interconnection between Polarization-Detected and Population-Detected Signals: Theoretical Results and Ab Initio Simulations.
