The rat offers a uniquely valuable animal model in neuroscience, but we currently lack an individual-level understanding of the in vivo rat brain network. Here, leveraging longitudinal measures of cortical magnetization transfer ratio (MTR) from in vivo neuroimaging between postnatal days 20 (weanling) and 290 (mid-adulthood), we design and implement a computational pipeline that captures the network of structural similarity (MIND, morphometric inverse divergence) between each of 53 distinct cortical areas. We first characterized the normative development of the network in a cohort of rats undergoing typical development (N=47), and then contrasted these findings with a cohort exposed to early life stress (ELS, N=40).

Various behavioral health crisis models have been developed to advance the shared goals of improving behavioral health outcomes and increasing diversion from criminal legal systems. The effectiveness of these models is promising, yet research is needed to understand their comparative advantages. This study compares the effectiveness of three community mental health response models-co-response, mobile response, and office-based response-and law enforcement-only response in addressing key behavioral health and diversion goals.

Purpose: To compare breast cancer survivors (BCS) to women without breast cancer (controls) on sleep health risk factors and actigraphy-derived dimensions of sleep (duration, maintenance, timing, and regularity) and examine whether the effect of breast cancer on sleep differs by time since diagnosis.

Methods: Analyses included data from 68 BCS and 1042 controls who participated in actigraphy and Pink SWAN sub-studies within the Study of Women's Health Across the Nation. BCS and control characteristics were compared using chi-square, Fisher's exact, and Wilcoxon rank sum tests.

Many key aspects of visual perception involve surround suppression, yet the neuromodulatory processes involved remain unclear. Psilocybin is a serotonergic psychedelic compound known for its robust effects on visual perception, particularly texture, color, object, and motion perception.
