Two dark and raised foci were observed on the left hemisphere of the brain of a 3-year-old cynomolgus monkey during the routine necropsy procedures of a preclinical toxicity study. Microscopic examination revealed a lesion in the cerebral cortex at the junction of the parietal and occipital lobes, consisting of disorganized, but generally well-circumscribed collections of mixed glial and neuronal cells within a fibrillar stroma. Numerous eosinophilic granular bodies, brown pigment-laden macrophages, and lymphocytic infiltrates were also noted.

Procedures: Based on single-agent tolerability, activity, and FDA approval in adults with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), we tested the safety and feasibility of VSLI as replacement for standard vincristine in the UK ALL R3 mitoxantrone-based four-drug induction (Cohort A), a three-drug anthracycline-free induction (Cohort B), and maintenance chemotherapy (Cohort C) in children and young adults with relapsed/refractory B-cell ALL.
Results: Among 29 participants with a median age of 12.
Purpose: Asparaginase (ASN) is a critical component of pediatric ALL protocols. Until recently, ASN was available in three formulations: native Escherichia coli, PEGylated E. coli (PEG), and Erwinase, with native E.

It is imperative for physicians to recognize the trends and role of these tools in clinical orthopaedic practice, and to harness these tools to educate users, connect with other physicians, and interact with current and potential patients. It is important to review the current literature regarding social media in orthopaedics; some commonly used social media platforms and their individual characteristics; and general guidelines for creating content and managing an online reputation.

Objectives: We aimed to identify molecular markers and signatures of the leukemia microenvironment associated with VTE in childhood ALL by the dual-omics approach of gene expression and DNA methylation profiling.
Methods: Eligible children aged 1 to 21 years old with newly diagnosed ALL were enrolled in the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute 16-001 trial with available RNA sequencing data from bone marrow at diagnosis.
