[Effect of low doses of radiation on vitamin A and E levels in rat liver].

It has been established that under intake of small doses of 137Cs by rat for 9 months the radioactivity of whole rat body was increased in irregular manner. Under this condition the level of fat-soluble vitamins A and E is decreased and the decrease is well correlated with a level of radionuclide accumulation by rat's body. The possible causes of decrease of the vitamins A and E level under intake of small doses of radionuclide are discussed.

[Hepatoprotective and antioxidative activity of some methoxy- and nitroderivatives of acridinyl-9-thioacetic acids].

During experiments on rats it was established that some methoxy- and nitro-derivatives of acridinyl-9-thioacetic acids possess the hepatoprotective properties contributing to a decrease of the liver tissue cell destruction under the action of CCl4 and lipid peroxidation in the liver.

[Action of hepatoprotective agents in a tetracycline lesion of the liver].

Comparative efficacy of hepatoprotective agents in tetracycline affection of the liver is discussed. The affection was induced by daily intragastric administration of the antibiotic in a dose of 0.5 g/kg body weight to Wistar albino rats.
