84 patients with duodenal ulcer and positive by Helicobacter pylori (HP) were divided into two groups. Group 1 consisted of 42 patients who received omeprasol, metranidasol and clarithromycin. Group 2 of 42 patients received rovamycin instead of clarythromycin.

Measurements of the protein in the course of radiation therapy demonstrated that two months after effective treatment fibrinogen concentrations decreased to normal values and remained at that level throughout the remission time. If radiation therapy was ineffective, fibrinogen concentrations remained high during 2 to 4 months after exposure.

Eighteen tumors removed after irradiation alone served as controls. Application of local microwave hyperthermia resulted in a higher degree of irreversible tumor cell dystrophia and damage.

The results were compared with those of the control group of patients on radiotherapy only. Three therapeutic schemes were employed.

The two-field method of irradiation permits a uniform heating of more deeply located layers of the tissue due to summation of the radiant energy. So, the contact method of irradiation using "Luch-2" and "Luch-3" sets permits elevating the temperature inside the larynx up to 41-41.
