The results of a study on the mechanisms of the influence of an increased level of microwave radiation on the growth of infectious, primarily viral, diseases in the environment are presented. This is the radiation of the earth's ionosphere, which reached its maximum in the late 1980s-early 2000s, following an increase in the level of solar activity since the 17th century. Over the past 30 years, the anthropogenic electromagnetic background has increased 100 times due to the development of cellular mobile communications and computerization.

The natural and economic adversities and public health crises, which have repeatedly stormed the globe during the past twenty years, have often unveiled a low degree of self-sufficiency and a high degree of unpreparedness by European countries. It is always the case that the most vulnerable take the brunt, and these adverse events have shown their effects and a negative direct impact particularly on the population aged 0-18 years, with important implications for families and communities.

An increase in the IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α and p53 genes expression in the concentration range of silver and titanium dioxide nanoparticles of 10-40 μk g/ml was found. Increased expression of IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α and p53 genes under the nanoparticles action indicates the stimulation of the immune system and of apoptosis, respectively.

It was found that under the influence of nanoparticles a reduction in cell viability and formation of excessive levels of reactive oxygen species were observed. Silver nanoparticles at different concentrations activate the processes of lipid peroxidation and, as a consequence, led to morphological changes in human lymphocytes.

Methods: Nurse's practical skills and knowledge of signs and early recognition of tropical neuroinfections, providing first aid and quick action has been studied among graduates of two Tropical Nursing PhD programs (in EU-Countries vs.
