Objectives: To evaluate the prognostic value (total mortality + repeated hospitalization for heart failure (HF)) of ultrasound diagnostic methods in patients with acute decompensated HF (ADHF).
Methods: The subjects were patients with chronic HF, who were hospitalized for ADHF. Using ultrasound methods-lung ultrasound, ultrasound assessment of hepatic venous congestion as per the venous excess ultrasound (VExUS) protocol, and indirect elastometry-we assessed the number of B-lines, hepatic venous congestion, and liver density of the patients.
Using mouse pluripotent teratocarcinoma PCC4azal cells and proliferating spleen lymphocytes we obtained a new type of hybrids, in which marker lymphocyte genes were suppressed, but expression the Oct-4 gene was not effected; the hybrid cells were able to differentiate to cardiomyocytes. In order to specify the environmental factors which may affect the genetic stability and other hybrid properties, we analyzed the total chromosome number and differentiation potencies of hybrids respectively to conditions of their cultivation. Particular attention was paid to the number and transcription activity of chromosomal nucleolus organizing regions (NORs), which harbor the most actively transcribed - ribosomal - genes.

Data on the appearance of primordial germ cells, their migration to the primordial gonads, the role of hormonal factors in the regulation of sex differentiation, the sex chromosomes, putative genetic mechanisms of sex determination, and a possible contribution of dosage compensation are described. The review discusses the two best-grounded hypotheses on the roles of the Z and W chromosomes in sex determination.

Two main drawbacks are characteristic of existing maps of chicken chromosomes. First, classic genetic maps (i.

A correspondence was revealed between the Comptonian linkage group 10 and chromosome 1. A common origin of avian chromosome Z and mammalian chromosome Y is hypothesized.
