Background: Gastrointestinal lymphoma typically arises in the stomach, small bowel, or colorectum and is usually a B-cell lymphoma. However, primary T-cell lymphomas originating in the stomach are particularly rare. Gastric peripheral T-cell lymphoma-not otherwise specified (PTCL-NOS) is an extremely rare subtype.

Background: Intensive blood pressure (BP) management within 24 h after successful reperfusion following endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) is associated with worse functional outcomes than conventional BP management in Asian randomized controlled trials. Given the high prevalence of intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis (ICAS) in Asia, ICAS may influence these outcomes.
Aims: We aimed to assess whether ICAS affects the outcomes of intensive BP management after successful EVT.

Background: Multiple attempts of thrombectomy have been linked to a higher risk of intracerebral hemorrhage and worsened functional outcomes, potentially influenced by blood pressure (BP) management strategies. Nonetheless, the impact of intensive BP management following successful recanalization through multiple attempts remains uncertain.
Aims: This study aimed to investigate whether conventional and intensive BP managements differentially affect outcomes according to multiple-attempt recanalization (MAR) and first-attempt recanalization (FAR) groups.
Importance: The associations between blood pressure (BP) decreases induced by medication and functional outcomes in patients with successful endovascular thrombectomy remain uncertain.
Objective: To evaluate whether BP reductions induced by intravenous BP medications are associated with poor functional outcomes at 3 months.
Design, Setting, And Participants: This cohort study was a post hoc analysis of the Outcome in Patients Treated With Intra-Arterial Thrombectomy-Optimal Blood Pressure Control trial, a comparison of intensive and conventional BP management during the 24 hours after successful recanalization from June 18, 2020, to November 28, 2022.
Background: The effectiveness of endovascular treatment for in-hospital stroke remains debatable. We aimed to compare the outcomes between patients with in-hospital stroke and community-onset stroke who received endovascular treatment.
Methods: This prospective registry-based cohort study included consecutive patients who underwent endovascular treatment from January 2013 to December 2022 and were registered in the Selection Criteria in Endovascular Thrombectomy and Thrombolytic Therapy study and Yonsei Stroke Cohort.

We present a case of delayed migration of an open-cell design carotid stent, which is a rare complication following carotid artery stenting (CAS). A 65-year-old patient with carotid artery stenosis underwent CAS with an open-cell stent, initially achieving successful deployment. However, 4 months later, the stent migrated and resulted in restenosis.

Importance: Optimal blood pressure (BP) control after successful reperfusion with endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) for patients with acute ischemic stroke is unclear.
Objective: To determine whether intensive BP management during the first 24 hours after successful reperfusion leads to better clinical outcomes than conventional BP management in patients who underwent EVT.
Design, Setting, And Participants: Multicenter, randomized, open-label trial with a blinded end-point evaluation, conducted across 19 stroke centers in South Korea from June 2020 to November 2022 (final follow-up, March 8, 2023).

However, the role of inflammatory peripheral blood cell ratios in patients with IA has not been well delineated.
Methods: A total of 1,209 patients, including 1,001 with unruptured IA and 208 with ruptured IA, were enrolled in this study.

Background: A high and low estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) could affect outcomes after reperfusion therapy for ischemic stroke. This study aimed to determine whether renal function based on eGFR affects mortality risk in patients with ischemic stroke within 6 months following reperfusion therapy.
Methods: This prospective registry-based cohort study included 2266 patients who received reperfusion therapy between January 2000 and September 2019 and were registered in the SECRET (Selection Criteria in Endovascular Thrombectomy and Thrombolytic Therapy) study or the Yonsei Stroke Cohort.
Background Early-stage unilateral moyamoya disease (MMD) is difficult to discriminate from isolated intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis, and identification of contralateral progression may aid in the diagnosis of MMD. The RNF213 (ring finger protein 213) R4810K variant is a strong genetic susceptibility factor for MMD; however, the role of contralateral progression in unilateral MMD is unknown. We investigated the clinical and imaging features of ischemic stroke patients with NSAT to demonstrate that these patients would have a higher proportion of embolic strokes.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed ischemic stroke patients who underwent Holter monitoring and selected patients with NSAT.
Previously we described the protocol-based decision for choosing the proper surgical treatment option for carotid stenosis. The objective of this study is to describe our experiences of using this scoring protocol in the selection of endarterectomy or stenting for carotid stenosis. Between October 2014 and March 2018, the scoring protocol was applied to a total of 105 consecutive patients.

Herein, we report a case of primary choroidal lymphoma diagnosed as diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBL), which progressed to the brain parenchyma after 4 mo.
Case Summary: A 78-year-old man presented with diminution of vision in his right eye.
Purpose: The purpose of this preliminary study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the Enterprise stent for intracranial atherosclerotic disease (ICAD) in patients who presented with acute stroke due to vessel steno-occlusion and in patients with symptomatic disease despite optimum medical management.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective data analysis was performed on 15 consecutive patients who were treated with Enterprise stenting for recanalization of symptomatic intracranial steno-occlusive arteries due to underlying ICAD. Their clinical and radiological data were reviewed to evaluate procedural results, periprocedural and postprocedural complications, and clinical outcome.
Purpose: The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of gradual dipyridamole titration and the incidence of dipyridamole-induced headache in patients with ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA).
Methods: A randomized, double-blind, double-placebo, parallel group, phase 4 clinical trial (KCT0005457) was conducted between July 1, 2019, and February 25, 2020, at 15 medical centers in South Korea. The study included patients aged >19 years diagnosed with a noncardioembolic ischemic stroke or TIA within the previous 3 weeks.

Background And Purpose: We aimed to develop a model predicting early recanalization after intravenous tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA) treatment in large-vessel occlusion.
Methods: Using data from two different multicenter prospective cohorts, we determined the factors associated with early recanalization immediately after t-PA in stroke patients with large-vessel occlusion, and developed and validated a prediction model for early recanalization. Clot volume was semiautomatically measured on thin-section computed tomography using software, and the degree of collaterals was determined using the Tan score.
