Members of the genus Arenibacter were widely distributed in oceanic habitats around the world and have been studied for a variety of useful properties, including antigen deactivation, pollutant degradation, and the production of antimicrobial agents. Arenibacter antarcticus KCTC 52924 of our interest is an aerobic, non-motile, Gram-negative, psychrotolerant type strain isolated from the deep-sea sediment of Ross Sea, Antarctica. The extreme conditions of this habitat are believed to have diversified the substrate spectrum and range of operational conditions of the enzymes, offering both scientific interest and potential industrial benefits.

Despite this promising prospect, achieving highly reliable ferroelectrics still demands a significant thermal budget to form a ferroelectric phase, being a hurdle for their use in high-end complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) processing. Here, we report a robust ferroelectric behavior of an 8 nm-thick ZrO film deposited plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition at 300 °C on a (002)-oriented Ru without any post-annealing process, demonstrating high compatibility with CMOS processing.

Methods: The study population was derived from the National Health Insurance Service database of the Republic of Korea between 1 January 2002 and 31 December 2021.

Purpose: To date, there is no region-specific guideline for pediatric endoscopy training. This study aimed to illustrate the current status of pediatric endoscopy training in Asia-Pacific region and identify opportunities for improvement.
Methods: A cross-sectional survey, using a standardized electronic questionnaire, was conducted among medical schools in the Asia-Pacific region in January 2024.
Purpose: Few studies have reported the prevalence of inflammatory bowel disease unclassified (IBDU) among Korean pediatric IBD (PIBD) population. To address this gap, we used two tertiary centers and nationwide population-based healthcare administrative data to estimate the prevalence of Korean pediatric IBDU at the time of diagnosis.
Methods: We identified 136 patients aged 2-17 years with newly diagnosed IBD (94 Crohn's disease [CD] and 42 ulcerative colitis [UC]) from two tertiary centers in Korea between 2005 and 2017.
Objectives: The aim of this study is to develop a deep-learning model to create synthetic temporal bone computed tomography (CT) images from ultrashort echo-time magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, thereby addressing the intrinsic limitations of MRI in localizing anatomic landmarks in temporal bone CT.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective study included patients who underwent temporal MRI and temporal bone CT within one month between April 2020 and March 2023. These patients were randomly divided into training and validation datasets.
