Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) define rare aberrations in vascular morphogenesis. AVMs are typically present at birth, and unless they are stimulated to grow quickly by trauma, illness, or hormonal effects, they enlarge in proportion to an individual's growth. Clinical manifestations of AVMs are often linked to abnormal mass effects and blood perfusion.

Lipoma is the commonest benign mesenchymal tumor composed of matured adipocytes. A literature search revealed few reported cases of giant scrotal lipoma.
