The extraction of lithium from aqueous solutions of LiNTf and LiCl salts using benzo-15-crown-5 ether (B15C5) as an extractant in [C8mim][NTf] ionic liquid was studied. The transition of the extractant into the aqueous phase and the distribution of Cl ions during lithium extraction from LiCl solutions were determined. LiNTf complexes with B15C5 with different LiNTf:B15C5 ratios were isolated for the first time and characterized via X-ray diffraction and IR spectroscopy.

In this article, we report the complete genome sequences of sp. strains B-10 (RCAM05335) and H-1 (RCAM05339), which were isolated from the water of the Dal'nee Verkhnee Lake in the Shulgan-Tash cave in Russia (53°2'0″N, 57°3'0″E). The sequences were obtained using an Oxford Nanopore Technologies MinION system.

A novel acidophilic fungal strain isolated from snottites in the active sulfuric acid speleogenesis (SAS) Sheki-Heh Cave (North Caucasus, Chechen Republic) was identified and characterized. The Sheki-Heh Cave is one of three cavities of the joint SAS speleosystem; to date, it remains the only of such cave explored in Russia. Highly acidic biofilms termed snottites are found sporadically on the cave roof in sulfurous water degassing zones.

Growth-Promoting Effect of Rhizobacterium ( IB22) in Salt-Stressed Barley Depends on Abscisic Acid Accumulation in the Roots.

An ABA-deficient barley mutant (Az34) and its parental cultivar (Steptoe) were compared. Plants of salt-stressed Az34 (100 mmol m NaCl for 10 days) grown in sand were 40% smaller than those of "Steptoe", exhibited a lower leaf relative water content and lower ABA concentrations. Rhizosphere inoculation with IB22 increased plant growth of both genotypes.

[Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in patients with multiple myeloma].

Aim: To analyze the effectiveness of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) from a related HLA-identical donor in patients with multiple myeloma (MM).

Materials And Methods: From 2013 to 2018, the study included 8 patients (6 men, 2 women) aged from 27 to 55 years (median 39 years) with MM who underwent allo-HSCT from a related HLA-identical donor (7 patients after auto-HSCT, in 1 case without previous auto-transplantation). All patients required 2 or more lines of induction therapy, while the achieved antitumor effect was unstable.
