[Intestinal enterobacteria of the hibernating Apis mellifera mellifera L. bees].

Dynamics of enterobacteria of normal intestinal microflora was studied in Apis mellifera mellifera L. bees hibernating under snow in the Western Urals. The cell numbers (N) of the predominant species Klebsiella oxytoca increased from 10-10(6) CFU/bee in November 2004 to 10(4)-10(7) CFU/bee in March 2005; its frequency of occurrence (P) increased from 92 to 100%.

[Antigenemia and circulation of specific immune complexes in the asymptomatic course of tick-borne encephalitis].

The frequency of the detection of tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) virus antigens, carried out by the method of fluorescent antibodies with the use of erythrocytic immunosorbent, in the blood of persons bitten by virus-carrying ticks, but with no signs of the clinical manifestation of the infection changed from 5.7 +/- 2.4% to 13.

[Decreased humoral immunity to the tick-borne encephalitis virus in the population of the western Urals].

A serological survey of the human population in the western Urals in 1966-1968 and repeated survey in 1988-1989, the decrease in humoral immunity to tick-borne encephalitis virus in all age groups of people was established in most of landscape subzones of the region. The most expressive decrease of humoral immunity was noted in middle-aged people living in the subzone of broad-leaved and coniferous forests and forest steppe.

[The immunodiagnosis of tick-borne encephalitis by using the indirect immune rosette formation reaction].

200 patients suspected for tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) were examined by the method of the indirect immune rosette-formation test. In 70.15% of patients with the serologically confirmed diagnosis of TBE immune lymphocytes were detected as early as on day 1 of examination.
