Two new marine actinobacteria strains, J2-1 and J2-2, were isolated from a coral in Thailand and identified using taxonomic analysis, revealing their similarity to known species.
Both strains show distinct chemotaxonomic properties and cellular composition, with J2-1 exhibiting similarities to the genus, and J2-2 to another genus.
Genome analysis confirms they are new species, leading to the proposed names sp. nov. for J2-1 and sp. nov. for J2-2 based on their unique genetic and phenotypic characteristics.
