Context: Health education using videos has been promoted for its potential to enhance community health by improving social and behavior change communication.

Objective: To provide stakeholders in maternal and child health with evidence that can inform policies and strategies integrating video education to improve maternal, newborn, and child health.

Data Sources: Five databases (MEDLINE, Embase, Scopus, Web of Science, and CENTRAL) were searched on January 28, 2022, and November 10, 2022 (updated search).

Background: Milk tooth extraction (MTE) is one of the most common harmful traditional practices performed by traditional healers without anesthesia and unsterile materials. The acute and chronic complications of this practice greatly affect the health of children. In order to develop effective preventive measures towards this harmful practice, the extent of the problem and factors contributing to the practice should be verified.

Determinants of birth asphyxia among newborn live births in public hospitals of Gamo and Gofa zones, Southern Ethiopia.

Background: Birth asphyxia is the inability of a newborn to start and conserve breathing immediately after birth. Globally, 2.5 million infants die within their first month of life every year, contributing nearly 47% of all deaths of children.
