Interactions among and between electrons and phonons steer the energy flow in photo-excited materials and govern the emergence of correlated phases. The strength of electron-phonon interactions, decay channels of strongly coupled modes and the evolution of three-dimensional order are revealed by electron or X-ray pulses tracking non-equilibrium structural dynamics. Despite such capabilities, the growing relevance of inherently anisotropic two-dimensional materials and functional heterostructures still calls for techniques with monolayer sensitivity and, specifically, access to out-of-plane phonon polarizations.

Methods: A prospective cohort of 89 PM patients treated with 210 pressurized intraperitoneal aerosol chemotherapy (PIPAC) cycles was investigated.

Buprenorphine Extended-Release (BUP-XR) is an FDA approved, monthly subcutaneous injection for opioid use disorder. This formulation provides an alternative for patients who have difficulty adhering to daily sublingual buprenorphine; however, its cost may be prohibitive compared to other medication alternatives. The objective of this project was to evaluate the effectiveness of BUP-XR and provide a rationale for its utilization in health care facilitates.

Typically, these approaches dynamically steer a system towards states or reaction products far from equilibrium. In solids, metal-to-insulator transitions are an important target for optical manipulation, offering ultrafast changes of the electronic and lattice properties.

Methods: A French multicenter trial (NCT00949221) with a randomized, controlled, prospective, open, and parallel-group design was conducted. After 3 months of RT-CGM, patients were allocated to one of three groups: return to self-monitoring of blood glucose, continuous CGM (80% of the time), or discontinuous CGM (40% of the time).
Introduction: Pressurized intraperitoneal aerosol chemotherapy (PIPAC) is a novel drug delivery system with superior pharmacological properties for treating peritoneal metastasis (PM). Safety and efficacy results of PIPAC with cisplatin/doxorubicin or oxaliplatin from a registry cohort are presented.
Methods: IRB-approved registry study.

Furthermore, we describe the use and efficacy of the Primary Care Behavioral Health model, a collaborative approach to integrative primary mental health care, in evaluating and treating this rare mental health disorder.
Case Presentation: Three days following ingestion of one dose of 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine, a 35-year-old Hispanic man with no significant prior mental health history and no history of prior 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine use presented to our hospital with severe, acute anxiety and panic symptoms.
Purpose: Patients with carcinoma in situ (CIS) of the bladder refractory to bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) treatment are usually treated with cystectomy. Therefore, new treatment options with preservation of the urinary bladder are needed. The objective of the study was to investigate the feasibility, safety and efficacy of a novel targeted alpha-emitter immunotherapy for CIS after BCG treatment failure.

The incidence is rising. The objective of this study was to outline the risk factors for management and outcome of AUF in a large individual case series.

It is operated in the solitary regime with a fundamental roundtrip rate of 94 MHz and pulse durations between 200 fs and 600 fs. Harmonic operation was observed being stable for several days.

The formation of such temporal soliton bound states and their internal dynamics have escaped direct experimental observation. By means of an emerging time-stretch technique, we resolve the evolution of femtosecond soliton molecules in the cavity of a few-cycle mode-locked laser.

Objectives: The aim of this pilot study was to evaluate tolerability and safety of the α‑emitter radioimmunoconjugate instillation in patients after BCG failure.
Materials And Methods: Nine patients were included.
Background: The incidence of childhood type 1 diabetes (T1D) incidence is rising in many countries, supposedly because of changing environmental factors, which are yet largely unknown. The purpose of the study was to unravel environmental markers associated with T1D.
Methods: Cases were children with T1D from the French Isis-Diab cohort.
For the development of patient-specific therapies the guidelines offer the physician a valuable catalogue of possible treatment options. They are based on the current level of knowledge and urological research, but also let some space for individual treatment at the same time. In this article, the current guidelines of several urological associations on the topic of urolithiasis regarding recommendations are described and the differences are highlighted.

The aim of this study was to determine if low and high risk HPV play a role in the etiology of superficial low grade and invasive high grade urothelial carcinoma of the bladder.
Methods: We prospectively collected tumor samples of urothelial carcinoma of the bladder from 109 patients treated with transurethral resection or cystectomy, with bladder tissue from transurethral resection of the prostate serving as control.
Background And Method: Prevalence of urolithiasis is increasing in industrialized countries--in both adults and children, representing a unique diagnostic and therapeutic challenge. Risk-adapted diagnostic imaging currently means assessment with maximized sensitivity and specificity together with minimal radiation exposure. In clinical routine, imaging is performed by sonography, unenhanced computed tomography (NCCT) or intravenous urography (IVU) as well as plain kidney-ureter-bladder (KUB) radiographs.

Most mutations causing CHARGE syndrome result in premature stop codons and occur de novo, but the proportion of truncating vs nontruncating mutations in KS and CHH patients is still unknown.
Objective: The objective of the study was to determine the nature, prevalence, mode of transmission, and clinical spectrum of CHD7 mutations in a large series of patients.
Renin-expressing cells in the kidney normally appear as mural cells of developing preglomerular vessels and finally impose as granulated juxtaglomerular cells in adult kidneys. The differentiation of renin-expressing cells from the metanephric mesenchyme in general and the potential role of special precursor stages in particular is not well understood. Therefore, it was the aim of this study to search for renin cell precursors in the kidney.

It has been implicated in Waardenburg syndrome (WS), a rare disorder characterized by the association between pigmentation abnormalities and deafness, but SOX10 mutations cause a variable phenotype that spreads over the initial limits of the syndrome definition. On the basis of recent findings of olfactory-bulb agenesis in WS individuals, we suspected SOX10 was also involved in Kallmann syndrome (KS).

Yet the cause of ambiguous genitalia may guide sex assignment, and rapid, precise diagnosis of 5α-reductase deficiency is essential.
Objective: The aim of the study was to describe relevant data for clinical diagnosis, biological investigation, and molecular determination from 55 patients with srd5A2 mutations identified in our laboratory over 20 yr to improve early diagnosis.
The observation of ambiguous genitalia in the newborn signals a medical, surgical and psychological emergency. The most crucial decision will be the choice of sex assignment. Rapid and precise diagnosis is thus essential.
