Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the factors leading to more than one time visit to the pediatric emergency department within 72 h, parental wishes and experiences with emergency nurses from the parents' perspective.
Material And Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted between April 15, 2023 and April 14, 2024 with 596 parents of children aged between 0 and 18 years who had return visits to the pediatric emergency department of a gynaecology and pediatrics hospital in the Western Black Sea Region of Türkiye within 72 h after the first visit. Following the acquisition of written informed consent from the parents, the data were collected using the Descriptive Characteristics of Children and Experiences of Parents Information Form.
spp. are ubiquitous, and people are frequently exposed to their spores in the environment and hospital settings. Despite frequent inhalation of the spores, infection is infrequent in humans, except in immunosuppressed hosts.

Methods: This retrospective cohort study included 126 women with PE, 126 women with PE-SF, and 126 women with healthy, normotensive pregnancies delivered at a large tertiary referral hospital between 2018 and 2022. The main outcome measures were SII, SIRI, and PIV.
Objectives: As previous studies on the use of a cervical pessary to prevent preterm birth (PTB) have produced conflicting results, we aimed to investigate the feasibility, acceptability and safety of a new technique for inserting a cervical pessary and compare it with the traditional technique in patients at high risk of PTB.
Methods: Women at high risk of PTB treated with a cervical pessary between January 2018 and January 2021 were retrospectively evaluated. After applying exclusion criteria, a total of 68 eligible patients were identified and retrospectively analyzed.
Background: Due to lack of knowledge and misunderstanding, parents may mismanage a fever and seek unnecessary medical attention.
Aim: The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of video and booklet discharge instructions for childhood fever in the pediatric emergency department.
Methods: This randomized controlled trial (NCT05929131) consisted of three groups: video (n = 48), booklet (n = 48), and verbal (n = 48) discharge instructions.

This qualitative study was conducted to identify how being a sibling of a child with intellectual disabilities is defined for the child, its implications from the perspective of mothers. Data were collected through in-depth individual interviews using a "Semi-structured interview form" between November 2023 and January 2024 with 14 mothers of children aged 12-18 who were studying in seven special education and rehabilitation centres in Türkiye. The semi-structured interview form included questions such as "Can you tell us about the relationship between your child with intellectual disability and his/her sibling?" Main themes and sub-themes were developed using thematic analysis.

Methods: The study was conducted as phenomenological research and 15 pediatric nurses, and 15 parents were included in the pediatric emergency department. The data were analyzed using the thematic analysis method.
Purpose: The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of finger puppets, abeslang puzzles, and pinwheels in reducing pain and anxiety in children aged 4-6 years during blood sampling procedures in a pediatric emergency department.
Design And Methods: This study was a four-arm parallel group randomised controlled trial design conducted in the pediatric emergency department of a children's hospital in Western Türkiye between June 2023 and June 2024. Children (n = 160) were randomly assigned into four groups in a 1:1:1:1 ratio.
Objectives: This study evaluates the association of novel inflammatory markers and Doppler parameters in late-onset FGR (fetal growth restriction), utilizing a machine-learning approach to enhance predictive accuracy.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective case-control study was conducted at the Department of Perinatology, Ministry of Health Etlik City Hospital, Ankara, from 2023 to 2024. The study included 240 patients between 32 and 37 weeks of gestation, divided equally between patients diagnosed with late-onset FGR and a control group.
The spatiotemporal pattern of surface displacements from large earthquakes provides crucial insights about the deformation of Earth's crust at various scales and the interactions among tectonic plates. However, the lack of extensive and large-scale geodetic networks near such seismic events hinders our thorough understanding of the large-scale crustal deformation resulting from earthquakes. Using Türkiye's extensive and continuous global navigation satellite system (GNSS) network during the moment magnitude 7.

Objective: The present study aims to investigate the relationship between cyberbullying/victimization and technology addiction among Turkish adolescents.
Design And Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted with 572 adolescents between the ages of 14 and 18. The study employed the Bullying and Cyber Bullying Scale for Adolescents (BCS-A) to evaluate cyber victimization (BCS-A VCSs) and cyberbullying (BCS-A BCSs) subdimensions, in conjunction with the Technology Addiction Scale (TAS).
Conferring alloantigen-specificity to ex vivo expanded CD4CD25FOXP3 regulatory T cells (Tregs) increases their capacity to counteract effector alloimmune responses following adoptive transfer into transplant recipients. Three strategies are currently undergoing clinical development, which involve the following: (1) expanding Tregs in the presence of donor B cells (donor alloantigen-reactive [DAR] Tregs); (2) culturing Tregs with donor cells in the presence of costimulation blockade (CSB-Tregs); and (3) transducing Tregs with an human leukocyte antigen A2-specific chimeric antigen receptor (CAR-Tregs). Our goal in this study was to assess the relative potency of each of these manufactured Treg products both in vitro and in vivo.

However, the endothelial cell subtypes and signaling pathways contributing to these leaky neovessels are unclear. Here, using single-cell transcriptional profiling and in vivo validation studies, we show that venous endothelial cells express neoangiogenesis gene signatures and show increased proliferation resulting in enlarged veins and higher venous coverage in acute and chronic EAE lesions in female adult mice.

Aims: To assess the characteristics of CRKP bacteremia, a condition that has recently demonstrated an increasing prevalence in our center.
Hypothermic oxygenated machine perfusion (HOPE) is an organ preservation strategy shown to reduce ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI)-related complications following liver transplantation. In animal models, HOPE can also decrease alloimmune responses after transplantation, but this remains to be evaluated in humans. Our study, involving 27 patients undergoing liver transplantation enrolled in 2 randomized controlled trials comparing static cold storage with HOPE (14 HOPE-treated and 13 static cold storage-treated), delves into the impact of HOPE on the molecular profile of liver allografts and on the immune responses elicited after transplantation.

This study aims to investigate the effect of Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA), a bioactive endodontic cement, and Concentrated Growth Factor (CGF), a second-generation autologous growth factor, on pulpotomy-induced pulp inflammation. The study utilized the maxillary anterior central teeth of thirty-six young male Sprague Dawley rats. Forty-eight teeth were randomly assigned to two groups (12 rats/group; 24 teeth/group) based on the capping material (MTA or CGF).
